A little something for every family.
A growing collection of resources for parents who teach at home, or simply want to bring more wonder into the everyday.

A free op-art drawing lesson, on video.
Curious about how I teach? I’ve put together a step-by-step op-art lesson — geometric patterns that play tricks on the eye, drawn line by line until something seems to bend or rise off the page. It’s a perfect glimpse of where math and art meet. Watch the video anytime, follow along, and your child will come away with a finished piece they’re proud of.- Step-by-step instructions

Six math games for your kitchen table
Star fruit fractions
Slice a star fruit and let your child divide each five-pointed slice. Halves, fifths, tenths — fractions you can taste.
The clapping times tables
Stand in a circle. Step the rhythm of the four times table; clap on multiples of four. Bodies remember what pencils forget.
Twenty-four
Roll four dice. Make 24 using each number once, with any operations. A whole family game that grows with the child.
The mystery number
Pick a secret number 1–100. Your child asks yes-or-no questions. They'll discover binary search without knowing the name.
Patterns on the porch
Gather leaves, shells, stones. Make a repeating pattern; let your child extend it. Then ask them to make one for you.
The skip-counting walk
On a walk, count out loud: 3, 6, 9, 12... Take a step on each number, a small leap on the multiple. Math, hidden in motion.

After-class expansion materials.
For families whose children attend Lotus & Ivy or my math classes, I’m gradually publishing optional summer worksheet bundles.
